The Digital Sustainable Leadership Association (DESİL) held its first Board of Directors meeting of 2026 under the chairmanship of its President, Yasin Yavuz. The meeting began with a comprehensive evaluation of the association’s activities implemented to date in line with its mission and long-term vision. In this process, Yasin Yavuz not only assessed past performance but also clearly articulated the strategic direction that will guide DESİL throughout 2026.

The core agenda focused on major ongoing and planned initiatives, including the Digital Culture Bridge Project, the Deep-Rooted Heritage Project, the Addiction Awareness Çaykara Project, the Digital Information Panel Application in Imperial Mosques, and the Innovative Approaches Summit. In the process coordinated by Yasin Yavuz, detailed briefings were provided on each project’s objectives, target audiences, implementation processes, stakeholder structures, and anticipated social outcomes. Special emphasis was placed on generating measurable impact for youth, local communities, and the broader public through digital awareness and sustainability-oriented practices.

Discussions also covered the annual activity plan for 2026, project timelines, educational programs, and planned events. Strengthening national and international collaborations, enhancing institutional capacity, and expanding DESİL’s sphere of influence were identified as key priorities. Within this framework, the Board agreed on adopting more structured, data-driven, and sustainable approaches to digital transformation and social impact projects.

Another important topic addressed was DESİL’s digital communication and visibility strategy. The association’s corporate website, social media management, and public engagement practices were reviewed, and concrete steps were outlined to increase digital visibility and strengthen interaction with stakeholders. The meeting concluded with the clarification of DESİL’s 2026 strategic roadmap, a summary of key decisions, and the establishment of a clear framework for the upcoming implementation period.
