Biography

Born in 1991, originally from Çaykara district of Trabzon, Yasin Yavuz is a communication and project manager with a multidisciplinary career spanning brand management, corporate communication, digital media, software projects, and organizational management. He has built his academic foundation in communication, advertising, brand management, and business administration, and translated this expertise into practice through projects carried out at local, national, and international levels.

Yavuz completed his undergraduate studies in Communication Design (Multimedia) and Communication Arts (Advertising) at Istanbul Kültür University. He pursued his master’s degree in Advertising and Brand Communication Management at Bahçeşehir University, further strengthening his academic background with a business and management perspective through the Istanbul Technical University MBA (Micro MBA) program. In his master’s thesis, he examined the impact of social media marketing on brand loyalty, contributing to both academic literature and industry practices in digital communication and branding.

 

Starting his professional career at an early age, Yasin Yavuz has been leading software development, digital transformation, and project management processes under Gavia Works, which he founded in 2015. Since 2016, he has served as the President of Dada Istanbul, leading brand strategy, communication, organization, and creative projects. He also continues his role as Editor-in-Chief of Milli Müdafaa, a platform focused on defense industry and strategic affairs, and since 2024, he has been serving as the Director of Media and Corporate Communication at Çaykaraspor, overseeing the club’s corporate communication and media operations.

Throughout his career, he has developed collaborations with public institutions, private sector organizations, local administrations, universities, international partners, fair organizations, and development-oriented initiatives. In these projects, he has taken active roles in brand strategy, corporate identity, digital platforms, web software, organizational planning, and field management, adopting a holistic and strategic communication approach across different scales. He has participated in numerous national and international conferences, summits, and seminars, closely following global developments in digital transformation, new media, branding, and communication.

Yasin Yavuz is also actively involved in civil society as the founding president of the Digital Sustainable Leadership Association (DESİL). In addition, he has taken part in voluntary activities in the fields of disaster response, health, education, and social responsibility with institutions such as AFAD, Turkish Red Crescent, TEGV, LÖSEV, and Yeşilay. His work is guided by a strong commitment to ethical values, sustainability, social benefit, and cultural responsibility.

By integrating his academic background, field experience, and interdisciplinary knowledge with a strategic perspective, Yasin Yavuz aims to create long-term and sustainable value for brands, institutions, and projects.
