DESİL Board Holds First Meeting of 2026 with a Strategic Agenda

The Dijital Sürdürülebilir Liderlik Derneği (DESİL) held its first board meeting of 2026 under the chairmanship of board chairman Yasin Yavuz. The meeting opened with a comprehensive review of the work carried out to date in line with the association’s founding mission and long-term vision. In this work Yasin Yavuz not only analysed past activities but also set out clearly the strategic direction to be followed throughout 2026.

The main agenda of the meeting consisted of the Digital Culture Bridge Project, the Deep-Rooted Heritage Project, the Çaykara Addiction Prevention Project, the Digital Notice Board System in the Imperial Mosques and the Innovative Approaches Summit. In the process coordinated by Yasin Yavuz, the target audience, implementation method, stakeholder structure and expected social impact of each project were addressed in detail. Priority was given in particular to outcomes that raise digital awareness and a sense of sustainability among young people, local communities and the wider public.

The discussions also set out the annual activity plan for 2026, the project calendar, training programmes and event topics in detail. Strengthening national and international cooperation, increasing the association’s institutional capacity and widening its sphere of influence were among the core objectives. In this context it was agreed to give projects focused on digital transformation and social impact a more measurable and sustainable structure.

Another important item on the agenda was DESİL’s digital communication strategy. The corporate website, social media management and processes for engaging with the public were reviewed, and concrete steps to increase digital visibility were identified. The meeting concluded with the 2026 roadmap taking shape and the framework for the decisions to be implemented being drawn.
